Editorial profile and source policy

This page identifies the editorial attribution used for the independent research-reading section. The byline “Independent archive editorial desk” is a collective publishing label, not the name of a university department, a medical practitioner or a scientific project.

Scope and limits

The articles explain publicly available sources and distinguish observed measurements from interpretations. They report no original laboratory work, clinical trial or audit of a gambling operator. Editorial publication here does not imply approval by HBM4EU, the European Commission, conference speakers or any institution represented in the historical archive.

How sources are used

References link to agency guidance, regulator publications and identifiable research papers. Historical evidence is labelled by its original context; newer guidance is not retroactively attributed to the Vienna conference. Unverified performance figures, invented studies and unsupported professional credentials are excluded.

Attribution and corrections

A named contributor can replace this collective attribution once their identity, public profile and any claimed qualifications have been checked. No doctorate, institutional employment, peer review or medical endorsement is claimed for the current byline. Readers should consult the cited original sources when checking a claim and seek appropriately qualified advice for personal health or regulatory questions.
